On Wednesday, June 17th, beginning at 1:00 p.m, a Spanish CPR and Safety Training for Farmworkers will be conducted at the Warren County Cooperative Extension Office, 158 Rafters Lane, Warrenton.

This training will satisfy GAP Connections requirement, and cover workers' protection standards, green to***co sickness, heat stress, CPR, and will be conducted in Spanish.

To register for the training, please contact the Cooperative Extension office at 252-257-3640.

If you are interested in applying for the SNAP/FNS program in North Carolina, you can contact the More In My Basket team. They offer toll free lines that you can call Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm.

Their team offers SNAP assistance in English, Spanish and Portuguese. More In My Basket can answer your questions about SNAP, run an eligibility screening and help you with the application over the phone. For other languages, your local Department of Social Services will provide language translation upon request.

The North East Dairy show went amazing this weekend! All participants did so well! The Warren Franklin group showed their hearts out and so much growth was shown from when they started 8 weeks ago!
