With the overwhelming response and support from everyone, the Ahlers family would like to extend their sincere thanks. At this time, all of their immediate needs have been met. They are truly grateful for the generosity, kindness, and assistance shown by so many during this difficult time.
Culpeper and Fauquier friends, many of you may know Drs. Eric and Emily Ahlers. They had a devastating house fire yesterday and could use some prayers and help. Please see her post below.

Many of Yall have asked to help. I’m not very good at accepting help but probably need to start.
We are hopeful that some things Will be able to be restored. We are also hopeful that insurance will help us recover many costs
For the immediate future though, below is a list of things that would be helpful. Second hand items preferred as we will likely recoup alot of the costs to start anew.
I also don’t really know what I need since my mind is all over the place. Suggestions welcomed
