Contractors are invited to join the Warrenton Building Department for training and discussion on the State ePermitting system and app! Oregon Building Codes Division will be presenting this training and answering any questions you have about Oregon E-permitting. All contractors that attend will receive a certificate for 1 hour of Continuing Education (CE) credit from the Construction Contractors Board (CCB). Hope you can be there.

PUBLIC WORKS SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Beginning Monday, August 17, City of Warrenton Public Works staff and Dan’s Leak Detection LLC will be surveying the City’s water system for hidden leaks.
Customers may see crews walking along streets and near water meters with acoustic listening equipment. This equipment detects sounds that may indicate an underground water leak.
Thank you for your patience while we work to reduce water loss and maintain the City’s water system.

PUBLIC WORKS SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
🚧 CHIP SEAL PROJECT NOTICE
Beginning Monday, August 10th, 2026, Public Works will begin a chip seal project on Iredale Street, 8th Avenue, and Heceta Street. Please see the attached area map for the affected area. Work is expected to last until Thursday, August 13, 2026, the latest.

The City is exploring chip seal as a cost-effective way to improve gravel roads, reduce ongoing maintenance, and provide a smoother driving experience. Please use caution, drive slowly, and follow posted signs while crews are working.
Thank you for your patience as we evaluate this road improvement method.
