Had a fantastic time supporting my colleague Delegate Anne Ferrell Tata!!! Delegates Delegate Scott Wyatt, Tim Griffin for Virginia , Wren M. Williams and C. Andrew Rice and I were on a panel discussion at the Tea for Tata event. Great discussion and great support for a great team member! Thanks for having us AFT.

Yesterday after working cattle in the morning, I drove to Richmond. The Governor gave the Cattlemen’s Association a proclamation in honor of beef month. We had Gene Copenhaver president of the national cattlemen’s Association there, as well as some other of my fellow cattlemen. Of course, no visit to the mansion is complete without seeing the great historian and deputy butler Martin Townes. The staff that maintain and preserve the Governors mansion are the best in the business.

Bill Wiley for House of Delegates posted a graphic that really got me thinking about this Memorial Day. Words cannot express my gratitude and the words Thank you weigh heavy this weekend. To all the Gold Star Families…. Thank you for the weight you carry and thank you to those who died so that we may be a free and prosperous nation.
