It has come to our attention that since the opening of the new Casa Tequila location next door many people have been using our memorial site as a parking space. Normally this would not be a big issue, but we have recently seen several people running over curbs, backing into shrubs, breaking off flowers, and walking in the grass and mulch to get to their vehicles.
Members of the Tribute to Veterans Memorial Team and the owner of Casa Tequila are meeting in the very near future to discuss this situation, and come up with some solutions together.
The Tribute to Veterans Memorial team has put in so many volunteer hours, and raised so much money to keep the memorial site looking clean and beautiful as our way of paying respect to the Men and Women that sacrificed everything for the freedoms we enjoy daily.
While we don't want to stop people from parking there, we will ask that you please be respectful and remember why the site is there in the first place.
We love our community, and want the Memorial to continue to be beautiful so that anyone who visits it can truly enjoy it and see how much time we have put into honoring our military Veterans!
