I am here to DEFEND Kerr Lake and Warren county's share of Kerr Lake regional water system. Warren county is 20% owner of Kerr Lake regional water system, with Henderson and Oxford. That stake is a county asset. I oppose any deal that gives Franklin County control of KLRWS. Keep Warren's 20% ownership and wholesale customers (Norlina, Warrenton, Middleburg and others). Finish the pipes we already have. The county has been running on failing pumps and old mains. Finish grant backed main replacement and pump-station repairs before chasing new industrial demand. Publish a simple public utilities dashboard: leaks found, mains replaced, hydrants restored and water loss percentage. Use state drinking-water and sewer grants first so ratepayers are not asked to subsidize other counties' growth.

BREAKING: U.S. forces struck two Iranian missile launchers on Larak Island after officials say Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was observed preparing to launch rockets and deploy sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

The strike comes after U.S. Central Command completed an operation to clear sea mines from the critical shipping route last week.

U.S. forces are monitoring the area and remain prepared to protect the free flow of commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, according to a U.S. official.

Zohran Is Fuming Today as ICE Begins New York City Operation With Arrests Underway in Queens Despite His Orders.

Mamdani has called ICE a “cruel agency that does nothing to serve the interests of public safety” and said it “should be abolished.”

He directed city agencies not to assist with civil immigration enforcement and barred ICE from schools, hospitals, and city property without a judicial warrant signed by a judge.

ICE is now targeting individuals who were released after local jails declined to honor ICE detainers, and the operation is expected to expand across the New York City metro area.
