We so greatly appreciate the wonderful work our Medical Director does both in the hospital and out, sharing his wealth of knowledge, passion, and compassion throughout Medix Ambulance daily!
Thank you Dr. Camba! We are so blessed to have you here!

The newest Health Compass issue shares a patient story highlighting the compassion, teamwork and dedication of CMH's caregivers.

"A patient was seen in the Emergency Department for respiratory distress and was later admitted to the Critical Care Unit. Her husband reported that from the second she arrived, she was treated with phenomenal care, and they couldn't have asked for better care.

"He specifically mentioned the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit and Nutrition Services Staff. He wanted to call out the Emergency Department doctor (pictured), Sergio Camba, MD, in particular, who stayed with her until 1 a.m., despite his shift ending at 9 p.m., saying, "He saved her life."

This National EMS Week, I want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible men and women of Medix Ambulance Service.

Our EMTs, Paramedics, dispatchers, mechanics, Billing staff, Supervisors, and support personnel, work tirelessly behind the scenes and on the front lines to serve our communities. Whether responding to emergencies at all hours of the day and night, comforting patients for difficult moments, or ensuring our operation continues running smoothly, their commitment never goes unnoticed.
