On Friday May 22, 2026 WCP got flocked with flamingos by Holy Rosary PTO as part of their fundraiser!

In observance of Memorial Day, Warren County Pathfinders’ offices and day programs will be closed as we take time to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

🌟 Meet Kathleen Harnetz 🌟
President of the Board, Warren County Pathfinders


Kathleen joined the WCP Board of Directors seven years ago, serving in a variety of roles before stepping into the position of President in December 2024. Recently retired after 25 years in education, she spent much of her career as a Psychological Examiner with the Warren County School District. She has also shared her expertise on the Regional Interagency Coordinating Council for Missouri First Steps and on the Special Education Advisory Panel for the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Today, she continues to support schools as an independent contractor providing cognitive assessments.

For Kathleen, this work is deeply personal. Her younger son has benefited from WCP programs, including Special Olympics, Day Program, PA Services, and community outings. “Our family has experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of this amazing organization,” she says.

Kathleen and her husband, Jeff, have lived in Warrenton for 20 years with their two sons, Jack and Jace. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she enjoys traveling, reading, visiting historic homes, and spending time outdoors with their four dogs. She also treasures making memories with friends and family.

As a volunteer leader, Kathleen is grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside a compassionate and generous Board. Her hope is to raise awareness, inspire community involvement, and open even more doors for individuals and families in Warren and the surrounding counties.
