Ragnar and Miles, frequent concert go-ers and library visitors, took to the stage Wednesday night to show off their dance moves at our last concert of the season. Thanks Sushi Roll Band for inviting audience participation and playing great covers by Abba, John Mellencamp, Chris Stapleton (by request!), Whitney Houston and so many more.

Thanks again, City of Warrenville Hotel Tax Grant, for sponsoring another wonderful concert series.

Sushi Roll Band promised us dance music—the lead singer Harmony and the bass player certainly delivered. Thanks for finishing out our concert series in style last night.

Listening to stories at the library doesn't always mean sitting still. It can mean moving, exploring the space, making new friends or even hanging onto someone you love.

However your little one enjoys it, there's a place for them at Toddler Time. We'll be back for the fall session next week on Thursday, September 10, at 10 am.

Bring your water jugs, battery-operated fans and dancing shoes to the Commons tonight for the last concert of the season.

Note the 6 pm start time so Sushi Roll Band can wrap up their pop and dance hits before it gets too dark.

Sorry, no food trucks tonight.

We can't control the weather, but we can plan ahead and leave openings on our calendar to re-schedule events.

WWII Saga: The Codebreaker and the POW
Thursday, September 10 • 7 pm • Ages 18 and up

In 1942, Lt. Charles Baugh became a Navy codebreaker while his father, Richmond, was captured and held in a POW camp. In this gripping family story, author Sue Baugh chronicles the heroic efforts of codebreakers and the brutal fight to liberate the Philippine Islands.

This is a free event open to the public ages 18 and up. You don't need to live in Warrenville or have a WPLD library card to attend. Register at the link in the Comments.
