If you haven't been to Summerlakes Park lately, you might want to go and check out the latest feature—StoryWalk®!

The StoryWalk experience is a fun and educational activity where pages from a children’s book are displayed along a path. The library's role in this new adventure with Warrenville Park District is in selecting the books to be featured, which is a natural fit for us because just about everything we do supports literacy.

The first StoryWalk book is "Maria Had a Little Llama" by Angela Dominguez. Every few months the story will change, giving families new reasons to explore the park and enjoy a story at the same time.

From summer events to safety reminders, here’s what Warrenville residents should know this week.

National Night Out returns to Cerny Park on Tuesday, August 4, and Warrenville Police are looking for vendors to help make this year’s event another great community celebration.

It’s a great opportunity to meet residents, share information about your business or organization, and be part of one of Warrenville’s favorite summer events.

There’s one last chance to take the City’s Traffic Speed Study survey before the May 31 deadline.

Did you know you can pay your utility bill through the City of Warrenville app and set up autopay and paperless billing?

Tick activity is high this year. Remember to check for ticks after spending time outdoors.

Reminder: Door-to-door solicitors must have a City permit before knocking on doors in Warrenville.

…and more.

Do you have something to say about the proposed changes to local speed limits? Here's your chance to give your feedback.

Take the Traffic Speed Study Survey:
https://form.jotform.com/261246769033157

More than 175 residents have already shared feedback on proposed speed limit recommendations for residential roads under the City’s jurisdiction.

Thank you to everyone who has participated so far. Resident feedback helps inform the City Council’s discussion as it considers potential speed limit changes.

If you have not taken the survey yet, there is still time to participate before the public comment period closes on Sunday, May 31.
