The Warrington Fire Department is dedicated to the safety of those living and visiting our community. Your fire department is also dedicated to protect the environment from natural and man-made disasters through education,prevention, rescue and Emergency Medical Support Services. Warrington Township Fire Company #1 was organized March 27, 1924 with twenty-two members. Currently Warrington Township

is served by 53 active firefighters. The Warrington Township Fire Department operates out of two stations. Station 29, the main station, and is located at Easton Rd and Freedoms Way. Station 78 is the sub station which is located at Pickertown Rd and Mill Creek Rd on the west end of the Township. As your community continues to expand with new homes and businesses, your fire department is meeting the needs with superior training and equipment.

We would like to congratulate our Fire Chief, Mike Bean, on his retirement from Newtown Fire Rescue. Mike served the residents of Newtown with great pride and professionalism over the last 28 years. We wish Mike the best of luck as he continues his fire service career with the Bucks County Fire Marshal’s Office. Enjoy Chief!

Yesterday, R29 responded alongside our career staff and mutual aid partners on Marine Box 29-18 for the report of a subject in the water. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased.

On 4/23, companies responded to Equestrian Court for a reported dwelling fire. Upon arrival, crews found fire on the roof. With limited access from the interior, the pony section in the bucket of TW29 was used to extinguish much of the fire. Warrington Township Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire. Thank you to our mutual aid partners for their assistance.

The members of the Company are saddened to announce the passing of Life Member Robert Hershman Jr. Bob was a dedicated member of the Company for many years and will be missed! Bob was also well known throughout the community as he was the owner of Warrington Alarm. Please keep Bob’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
