The real divide is not rich versus poor, it's the growing gap between politicians and the people in the states and districts they represent.

Ignoring the wisdom of those people. Failure to involve and inform the public adequately or not at all, after the decisions have already been made.

When I served in Iraq, we accomplished great things because we had a plan, a strategy, and a clear understanding of what victory required.

We knew we could not win without the support of the American people and without civilian leaders who actually listened.

That is the standard. Not speeches after the fact. Not silence until something has already failed. If you will not involve the people, you are not leading them, you are leaving them behind.....and WE will not win that way.

We expect so little from our members. We need people who don't just show up, but do the work. Somebody who will do quarterly town halls, advocate for their district and will protect the peace, safety and well-being of the people.

I'd like to propose a new Amendment

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution

Section 1. No person elected to any office under the authority of the United States, whether in the legislative, executive, or judicial branch, shall hold or retain dual citizenship in any foreign nation.
Section 2. Any such elected official who possesses dual citizenship at the time of taking office must renounce all foreign citizenship within thirty days of assuming that office. Failure to do so shall result in immediate disqualification from holding the officeSection 3. Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Are rising property taxes making Indiana unaffordable? Why aren't we doing something generational for Hoosiers? Why isn't the IGA investing in The People? We sure invest in Corporations.

We can produce our own energy in Indiana specifically for the people and significantly reduce and eventually eliminate property taxes.

We must have a plan and a strategy. Taxing Hoosiers out of their homes is not an option.

In Indiana regardless of POLITICAL PARTY the theme when running for office is helping the Public.... then when elected they do a 180 and give the kitchen sink to everybody but the people they claim to represent.

Patterns and Trends say this has gotten much worse.

In 2001, approximately 39,450 Indiana corporate income tax returns were filed: about 580 returns from financial institutions, 21,600 returns from C corporations, and 17,250 returns from special corporations.

Just over 44% of these corporations had NO INCOME tax liability in 2001.

Almost 88% paid $10,000 or less in income tax; meanwhile, approximately 2.5 percent (1,000 corporations) paid almost 80 percent of the total corporate income tax liability

Hoosiers wonder why the IGA and local governments continue raising taxes on Hoosiers.
