Attention Trine contest participants: This week's contest scheduled for Wednesday, January 29 has been re-scheduled for February 5th due to weather. Please plan on joining us next Wednesday.

Today was a good day for WCHS Mathematics! We sent 8 students to Trine University to compete in their annual HS Math contest. Congratulations to Bryce Carter- 1st place in Advanced division, Grant Carlson - 2nd place in Advanced division, and Josh Miller - 1st place in Elementary division. WCHS also took home first place in the team competition. Awesome work!

WCHS sent two teams of 4 to Trine University today to take part in its Mathematics competition. All students represented us well. One team took home 2nd place and a $500 award for our Math Department! Congratulations to all!

WCHS scored 4th place out of 12 teams at Huntington Univ. Mathematics competition today! Congratulations to all team members. Top individuals were Zac Erba and Alek Jansen.

Next meeting is coming up soon. Looking forward to seeing everyone there 10/25/10. We'll have snacks, review the Mathletes problems, and discuss upcoming contests at Huntington Univ. and Rose-Hulman.
