Lakeview was thinking PINK today for Spirit Week!
From pink shirts to pink accessories, our Tigers showed up with spirit, smiles, and a little Indiana movie trivia, too!
Today’s theme connected to the holiday classic A Christmas Story — yes, the one with Ralphie and that unforgettable pink bunny suit! The movie is set in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana, which was inspired by author Jean Shepherd’s hometown of Hammond, Indiana.

Tomorrow, we keep the Indiana fun going with Christmas attire as we celebrate Santa Claus, Indiana! Wear your festive favorites and help us warm up Spirit Week with holiday cheer. ​

This special showcase is always a beautiful reminder of the creativity, talent, and hard work of our Lakeview students.
From bold colors and thoughtful details to unique perspectives and personal expression, each piece tells a story — and Mrs. Trier does such a wonderful job helping students find the confidence to share their artistic voices.

Today at Lakeview Middle School, we gathered together for a meaningful moment of gratitude and patriotism as new American flags were raised at our school.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Srogi and Stenoish families for their generous donation to purchase these beautiful new flags.

Both families have proudly served our country through the military, and we are deeply thankful for their service, sacrifice, and continued support of our Lakeview community.

It was special to see students and staff come together in respectful reflection as the flags were hung — a reminder of the values of service, unity, and pride that help make Lakeview such a strong community.

Thank you, Srogi and Stenoish families, for your generosity and dedication to both our nation and our school.

As we say goodbye to our incredible 8th graders, we wish you all the success, adventure, and memories waiting for you in high school. You’ve left your mark on Lakeview Middle School, and we are so proud of you! Meanwhile… look at these current 7th graders, already getting ready to rule the halls as the new 8th grade class on August 7th!
