This month, the Office of Counterterrorism teamed up with the Village of Warsaw Police Department and New York State Police for a See Something, Say Something outreach.

Just steps from Letchworth State Park—visited by over 1.3 million people last year—they connected with 37 local businesses and spoke with 63 residents.

First, a big thank you to the Warsaw Kiwanis Club for another fantastic end of season celebration! Second, to our summer lifeguards that kept our swimmers safe, enforcing the rules, tracking waivers, and somehow surviving an entire summer of wet kids and early mornings a final thank you, now go enjoy some time where no one is blowing a whistle at you! Great job and see you next summer ❤️

☀️🏊👏🏼Our summer lifeguards are some hard working members of the Village team! Every day they arrive ready to keep our pool safe and welcoming for everyone who visits. From responding quickly when needed to teaching swim lessons and water safety by example, their work often goes unnoticed, but it is never unappreciated!
Thank you to all our summer lifeguard and recreational staff for your commitment and positive attitudes throughout the summer. You represent the Village with pride and keep our pools safe for our community to make summer memories every day!
If you see one of our lifeguards, make sure you thank them for helping to make the summer great! ☀️🏊👏🏼
