IT's THAT TIME of the MONTH AGAIN!!

‼️CURBSIDE BULK PICKUP - NEXT WEEK (8/24/26 – 8/28/26)
Place your bulk items curbside by 6am of your normal garbage day (limit 4 items).

Curbside BULK pickup is for residents whose Towns participate in the Wyoming County Curbside Collection Service.
2026 scheduled BULK weeks, on your normal garbage day are:
• September 28 – October 2, 2026
• October 26-30, 2026

📌 Item Limit: 4 items per bulk week. If you have 5 or more items curbside, the balance WILL BE LEFT.

📌 Review the listed guidelines of acceptable BULK items. Bags, Totes, Personal Cans are considered household trash items, not BULK, they will not be picked up as bulk.
- Items considered to be part of a construction project, will not be picked up.
- ANYTHING which needs to be bundled
- MAXIMUM LENGTH = 4 feet; MAXIMUM WIDTH = 18 inches

❌ Please note that the Towns of Arcade, Attica, and Java don’t participate in the Wyoming County Curbside Collection Program with WM

This year at the August meeting of the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors held at the Wyoming County Fair - Pike, NY, Chairman Jim Brick, Perry, recognized our department, Wyoming County Planning & Development, as the county department of the month.

Chairman Brick also recognized Joanna Craigmile, GIS Planner, as the Employee of the Month, for her dedicated service to the department during a time of reorganization. As the search for a new director was in process, Joanna had taken on the role as department lead for multiple grants, along with creating data mapping needs for other departments. We are proud to have Joanna as a member of our Planning Department team.

🚛📣 Bulk Pickup is running behind, please have patience. There is a wealth of bulk items to pickup. When the truck is full, WM drivers need to travel back to the transfer station, empty and drive back to where they left off. According to WM Operations, everything will be picked up by the end of week.

‼️REMINDERS: Maximum number of items they will pick up is FOUR (4). If you have 5 or more items curbside, the balance WILL BE LEFT.

Just a reminder . .

🎊🎊 Come on down to the Warsaw Village Park this afternoon (6/24/26) and check out the launch party for Wyoming County's county-owned internet service, Speedy C.O.W., from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

There is live music, games, family-friendly entertainment, and an opportunity to learn more about this exciting new service for our community.

🎊 Come and celebrate the launch of Wyoming County's new county-owned broadband service. It will feature a ribbon cutting, food trucks, live music, and other community-focused activities.
