Last night, Gallatin County Schools proudly celebrated two incredible educators at the 2026 NKYEC Excellence in Education Awards Dinner in Erlanger, KY!
A special congratulations goes out to Mr. Wayne Scudder (Gallatin County High School) for being named a Golden Apple Award recipient and to Ms. Kerry Tackett (Family Resource Coordinator, Upper & Lower Elementary) for receiving the Extraordinary Service Award.
Both were recognized for the impact they make every day with our students, families, and staff. We’re proud to have them representing Gallatin County. Please join us in congratulating Mr. Scudder and Ms. Tackett on this well-deserved recognition!

We apologize for the late notice, but after further assessment of road conditions, Gallatin County Schools will be utilizing an NTI Day today, March 17th. Please have students complete their assigned NTI work from home.

Parents and Guardians,

We apologize for the last notice, but due to the forecasted snow between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, Gallatin County Schools will observe an NTI Day on Monday, March 2.

While road conditions may improve later in the day, we do not want to take any unnecessary risks during morning bus routes and arrival times, when snow or sleet could create hazardous travel conditions. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority.

Students should complete their NTI assignments as directed by their teachers. If you have any questions regarding NTI expectations, please reach out to your child's school.
