Come out to the high school today to join us for our FREE Fall festival from now until 3pm. This event is for All in for Ag Education week and to support our students in their SEA projects.

All in for Agriculture Education Week is coming up on Monday. The Gallatin County FFA will be hosting a free Fall Festival with games for the kids to come out and enjoy. There will also be booths set up by the FFA/ Agriculture students selling agriculture projects related to their SAE they do for class. Come out on September 26th from 9am-3pm at the school greenhouse to support these students.

A lot has been happening in the Gallatin County FFA this past week. We want to congratulate Scotty Rainwater on his accomplishments at the State Fair and for this show season. His SAE project is his show pigs and we couldn’t be more happy on how he did.

🏆 KENTUCKY STATE FAIR — CHESTER BARROW 🏆
His Chester Barrow (Robin Hood) was named Grand Champion Market Hog - AOB (Open Show) and also placed 2nd in the Junior Show Lightweight Chester White class! 🏆

Season highlights:
4 Showmanship Class Wins

In the ring:
• 9 Grand Drive appearances
• Champion and Reserve Champion Market and Breeding
• Class winners and top overall placings at nearly every stop

Scotty does an amazing job and we at Gallatin County FFA are so very proud of him. Keep up the great work.

What a week it has been. Gallatin County FFA took on State Convention this week and I wanted to say how very proud of everyone I am. They did a fantastic job.

Brianna Griffin and Lexie Perry both walked across the stage and received their State FFA degrees. 

Lexie Perry competed in the vegetable production proficiency. 

Brianna Griffin competed in Turf and lawn agriculture public speaking contest.

 Shayla Raleigh competed in fruits and vegetable agriculture public speaking contest.

Mackenzie Slone competed in freshman quiz bowl contest. 

And Brianna Griffin, Lexie Perry, Shayla Raleigh and Kayleigh Rose competed in senior quiz contest and placed fourth in the state

We also received our Chapter Gold Rating for the year!!!

I’m very proud of everyone that went and competed. We had a good time and we are now back home and getting ready for camp .
