Did you know?
Honey bee swarms and established colonies can appear in trees, walls, sheds, or other structures. Bees are important pollinators, but should be handled carefully. beeswarmed.org provides a free public reporting tool to connect residents with local beekeepers for safe honey bee removal and relocation. Beekeepers can assess the situation and arrange humane bee removal without the need for extermination. This protects pollinators, reduces unnecessary emergency calls, and supports local agriculture.

🚨 Family Safety Day Update 🚨

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted weather conditions for Saturday, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Family Safety Day. πŸŒ§οΈβ›ˆοΈ

We know how much our community looks forward to this event each year, and we are incredibly disappointed to have to make this call. However, the safety of our guests, vendors, volunteers, and participating agencies has to come first. ❀️

A huge THANK YOU to all of our vendors, sponsors, community partners, volunteers, and everyone who has worked behind the scenes to prepare for this year’s event. πŸš’πŸ€ We truly appreciate your continued support of Family Safety Day and the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see everyone again next year! β€οΈπŸš’
