The Kosciusko County 4-H program is open to all youth, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, whether they live in the city or on a farm.

The Indiana 4-H Youth Development mission is to provide real-life educational opportunities that develop young people who positively impact their community and world. Using curriculum and research from Purdue University, we provide hands-on learning experiences that teach life skills across 60 different subject areas. 🍀 Help build brighter futures for young people through 4-H.

Through Oct. 11, guests can round up their purchase at Casey's or make a donation online to support local 4-H programs. Casey's will also match guest donations up to $150,000.

Plot twist! 😂 We were all set for October 1… and now we’re waiting until November 1!

There are some exciting changes happening behind the scenes in 4-HOnline, and we’re waiting on those updates before opening enrollment for the year.

But here’s the good news: 4-H doesn’t stop just because the enrollment button does! 🎉 We can still meet, learn, plan, have fun, make memories, and keep doing all the awesome things Kosciusko County 4-H does best! 💚

The results are in... over 120 votes submitted and the results were so very close. We are so excited to have a few returning 4-H Council members for their second term and to also welcome some newly elected 4-H Council members. We look forward to their ideas, energy, and leadership that will lead Kosciusko County 4-H

Thank you to everyone who participated in the election and to all of the candidates who stepped forward to serve. Your willingness to support and strengthen our 4-H program is so valued.

These board members take their role on October 1. Join us in congratulating them, and don't be afraid to reach out to them if you have suggestions or ideas for the Kosciusko County 4-H program as we strive to Make the Best Better.

4-H Council Candidate Spotlight
Meet Janelle Rhoades, a candidate for the Kosciusko County 4-H Council.

Janelle Rhoades has been involved in 4-H as a parent for the past five years and joined the Kosciusko County 4-H Goat Committee this past year. She teaches middle school Physical Education and Health at Edgewood and also coaches group fitness classes at Strive Fit Club. Janelle is seeking to continue her involvement with 4-H by serving on the Kosciusko County 4-H Council.

4-H Council Candidate Spotlight
Meet Barry Ostrom, a candidate for the Kosciusko County 4-H Council.

Barry Ostrom has been involved with 4-H for more than 40 years as a volunteer and has previously served on the Kosciusko County 4-H Council. He and his wife, Diana, have three children, all of whom have been involved in 4-H. Barry is seeking to return to the 4-H Council and continue serving the 4-H program and families in our community.
