Happy Labor Day weekend from The Warsaw Education Foundation (missing a few Board members in the picture)!

We enjoyed a delicious meal at The Blue Apron Restaurant back in April. This student run restaurant (located at Warsaw High School) will be opening back up after Fall break this year. Please click on the link below for more details about the restaurant and menu options

Be sure to stop by and check out the restaurant if you can and support our talented high school students!

We love seeing WCS graduates leaving their mark! Amani Rodriguez is one of two artists behind the new utility box murals in Downtown Warsaw!

Amani has been creating art for as long as he can remember and was excited for the opportunity to bring more life and color to downtown. His design was inspired by the idea of “enjoying the moment” and seeing life through a colorful lens.

Way to go, Amani! Learn more about Amani and see more of his work and how he is at

We love seeing our students and putting their STEM learning into action!

Jefferson Elementary STEM Ambassadors recently conduct testing at Cherry Creek. They measured stream flow, tested water chemistry and completed biological sampling to better understand the health of the creek!

Learning to be good stewards of our natural resources (especially in this county!) is so important. Way to go!

We are incredibly grateful for the Zimmer Biomet Warsaw Engagement-Culture Initiative team! They always go above and beyond to support Warsaw Community Schools and our students.

Just recently, they led a shoe drive that provided more than 50 pairs of shoes for WCS students! The shoes have been distributed to clothing closets throughout our schools, where they’ll be available for students who need them.

Thank you, Zimmer Biomet!

Today, Immediate Food Packs are making their way into schools throughout Warsaw and Wawasee! ❤️

Mallory has taken the lead on this initiative, working behind the scenes to organize the packs and make sure schools have food ready when a student needs it. Amanda is overseeing the program within Wawasee schools, helping to deliver to each school and ensuring their packs remain stocked and available.

We are so grateful for the time, care, and heart they are both giving to this program—and today, they are delivering the first round of packs together!

These bags will be kept inside each school, ready for a trusted staff member to send home when they learn that a student may not have enough food waiting for them after the school day ends.

Thank you, Mallory and Amanda, for helping make sure children have access to food the moment a need is discovered.

For $10 a month, you can keep one of these bags ready inside a local school—so when a child shares that there is not enough food at home, a trusted adult can respond with food that same day.

We love seeing some of our youngest students ! ❤

Last year, Eisenhower students raised an incredible $7,963.57 through the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge (well surpassing their $5,000 goal) to make an impact in the lives of children and families across the country.

Way to go, Mr. Streit and the Eisenhower Eagles!

What a BIG milestone for our inaugural Spanish group!

Now sophomores, these two classes have officially been accepted into IU South Bend’s Pathways Program, making them the youngest students ever to join the program!

Last week, we celebrated with official acceptance letters and some IU swag as they take the next step in earning some significant Spanish college credits while still in high school. These students are truly !

We are so thankful for the organizations that are leaning in to help us make sure no child goes without food (especially on the weekends, during school breaks and throughout the summer).

If you would like to join us in this effort, there is currently a donor who is matching every dollar (up to $30,000!). Every contribution helps us continue providing food for WCS students and families when school meals aren’t available.

To help ensure no student goes hungry or falls behind in the classroom, the Warsaw Education Foundation has announced the launch of its new Food...

The Warsaw Community Public Library invited WCS students and art classes to help create more than 700 ceramic butterflies as part of the worldwide Butterfly Project, and our students really embraced it.

Art Teacher Kaitlyn Murphy was one of the teachers who signed up to participate at Eisenhower and Harrison. Students learned about the Holocaust and the meaning behind the project before creating their own beautiful butterflies.

The butterflies will become part of a permanent installation at the Library and join a worldwide effort to create 1.5 million ceramic butterflies with The Butterfly Project (one for each child killed during the Holocaust).

We love opportunities like this and allowing our students to contribute to something with a much larger impact!
