Cracks are repaired….GAME ON!

Many are asking….Hey! Why aren’t the pickleball courts open?!
Here’s the deal: we hired a professional to repair the cracks that emerged on the courts, and repaint them. In order to repair it properly, we need 4-5 consecutive dry days above 45 degrees.

You’re never going to believe this, but has not cooperated!

We are hoping this changes soon, so we can get all you pickle heads out there ASAP. Stay tuned…

Program Year 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Projects…
Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jim Tressel, and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik announced nearly $13.8 million for Neighborhood Revitalization and Critical Infrastructure grants to benefit 26 Ohio communities. The Coshocton Co. Commissioners, in conjunction with Community Development Consultants, were awarded a $750,000 Neighborhood Revitalization Grant to benefit projects in the Village of Warsaw. Highlights include:

-Paving of College, Plum, W. 4th, & Bridge Streets

-Paving of the playground parking lot and all bike paths at River View Community Park, including new paths connecting the basketball /pickleball courts to the concession stand and the large shelter to the parking lot

-Sidewalk and storm sewer improvements on Main & Bridge Streets

-Electronic Safety Signage on Main Street

-A new electronic message board at the Village Square

-A new pavilion at the former site of the River View Community Pool.

The Village of Warsaw residents are to be commended for their contributions in securing this grant. Without completion of the LMI Survey, and participation and input at several community meetings, this would not have been possible.
