🚑 Cold Weather Safety Tips ❄️

Cold temps aren’t just uncomfortable—they can be dangerous. A few reminders to help keep you and your loved ones safe this winter:

• Dress in layers – Cover exposed skin to prevent frostbite. Hats and gloves matter more than you think.
• Watch for hypothermia – Shivering, confusion, slurred speech, and extreme fatigue are red flags.
• Be cautious on the roads – Slow down, increase following distance, and keep an emergency kit in your vehicle.
• Use heaters safely – Keep space heaters away from flammable items and never use grills or generators indoors.
• Check on vulnerable neighbors – Elderly individuals, kids, and those without reliable heat are at higher risk.
• Call 911 early – Don’t wait if someone shows signs of cold-related illness.

Stay warm, stay safe, and call us if you need us! ❤️🚑

We’re a day late, but better late than never right??
Join us in congratulating yet ANOTHER huge milestone. (Now) Paramedic Richardson graduated her class and in seemingly record time, passed her National Registry Exam! She’ll be hitting the streets in no time! (And maybe someone can capture a few pictures in the meantime)
