They are heading off to represent Section 3 in the New York State Championship Tournament starting this Friday. Thank you to all the coaches, parents, and community members who have cheered them on every step of the way.

We are heading back to the trail, next saturday, 7/25, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM to fuel up thru-hikers with a hot breakfast and lunch! We need volunteers and donations to make it happen.

Here is how you can help:

Volunteer: Give an hour or two to help us flip pancakes and grill! 🥞🍔

Donate Food/Supplies: Pancakes, syrup, sausage links, hot dogs, burgers, buns, and paper plates.

Donate Funds: Cash or digital donations to help us buy the rest.

Drop a comment below or send us a DM to coordinate food drop-offs or to sign up for a volunteer shift. Let’s show these hikers some local love! 🥾❤️

Happy 4th of July and Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸✨

Today marks an incredible, historic milestone for our nation. While we are a country always striving toward a more perfect union, there is no doubt that the United States remains one of the greatest pillars of freedom and opportunity to ever exist on planet Earth. Today is a day for all of us, as neighbors, friends, and Americans, to put division aside, come together, and celebrate the liberty we share.

Right here in the Town of Warwick, our roots run deep into the very foundation of 1776. Our community didn't watch history happen; we made it happen.

Warwick's Proud Revolutionary Legacy:
Forging the Great Chain (1778): The massive 186-ton iron chain designed to stop British warships from sailing up the Hudson River was manufactured right here at Warwick's Sterling Iron Works. ⛓️

Defending the Frontier (1779):
Prominent Warwick resident Colonel John Hathorn led our local 4th Orange County Militia on a brave retaliatory expedition that culminated in the historic Battle of Minisink. ⚔️

George Washington’s Visit (1783):
General George Washington famously traveled through town, stopping for a mug of grog at Baird’s Tavern (built in 1766) and staying overnight at Col. Hathorn's home. 📜

The Lifeline of the Revolution:
Kings Highway (Route 94) was a critical route for Continental troops and generals avoiding British forces. Our town served as an army encampment, a safe haven for displaced Patriot families, and a supply hub, with military goods frequently stored at the Old School Baptist Church. 🏛️

From forging the physical chains of freedom to hosting the Father of our Country, Warwick has been a cornerstone of the American spirit since day one.

Let’s honor that incredible local legacy today by celebrating together in unity. Have a safe, happy, and proud Independence Day, Warwick! 🦅❤️🤍💙
