Today is the one-year anniversary of our protest at the observatory regarding Professor Britton's removal as the operator of the Jacoby Observatory.

I thought this would be an appropriate day to announce that the arbitration verdict came back and Professor Britton lost. We all lost.

The admibistration of our college stuck to their guns, and needed to be right, at our expense. It was ruled that they could legally do what they did to one of their greatest professors. Clearly, right and wrong were not a factor, and one of the best things about the CCRI Knight Campus will never be what it used to be.
