💙 Children do best when caregivers have support, too.

Parents and caregivers are often carrying more than others can see—stress, recovery, mental health challenges, financial pressures, and the everyday responsibilities of raising a family.

When families have access to support, connection, and resources, children benefit too.

This Reunification Month, we're recognizing the important role that support plays in helping families heal, grow, and stay connected.

🛍️💜 A heartfelt thank you to Amazon.com for their generous donations that help make a difference for the families we serve.

Thanks to this donation, PSN was able to share everyday necessities, household items, children's products, and special treats with parents, caregivers, youth, and families across our community. We were also excited to provide items to fathers participating in our Father 2 Father program as we celebrate Father's Day this week.

These donations help stretch family budgets, reduce stress, and remind families that they are not alone. Seeing families "shop" for items that meet their unique needs was a powerful reminder of what community support can do.

We're grateful to Amazon and everyone who helped sort, organize, and distribute these donations. Any remaining items will continue supporting local families through community partners, ensuring this generosity reaches as many people as possible.

Thank you for helping us strengthen families and build a more connected community. 💜

June is Reunification Month—a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and hard work of families who are healing, growing, and reconnecting.

When parents are working toward reunification, they are often carrying a lot: stress, trauma, recovery, mental health challenges, and the pressure of meeting many expectations at once.

Sometimes what looks like anger, avoidance, people-pleasing, or feeling "stuck" is actually a survival response.

Fight. Flight. Freeze. Fawn.

These are not character flaws. They are ways the nervous system tries to keep us safe during difficult times.

Understanding how stress affects the brain and body can help reduce shame, build self-awareness, and support healing—for parents, caregivers, and families.
