Warwick MA Fire Department We are a Volunteer Fire Department that is on call 24/7 365 days a year. We currently operate out of one station that the members of the association built.

We provide emergency services such as Fire/Rescue/EMS to the town of Warwick as well as our surrounding towns via Mutual Aid. We are dispatched out of the Shelburne barrack's located in Shelburne Massachusetts. We are a member of the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firemen’s Association. As always we are standing by for any emergency that may arise in our community.

Tuesday evening was training night. Members practiced pumping out of a dump bag which we use for water operations due to not having hydrants in town. This technique is used any time we need to operate at a fire scene that requires large amounts of water to extinguish a fire.

🚒🔥 Annual Fire Safety Day at the Elementary School! 🔥🚒

This past Thursday, our department had the pleasure of visiting the elementary school for our annual Fire Safety Day! This year’s theme focused on the safe charging of electronic devices and the importance of fire prevention in the home.

The students learned about potential hazards around the house, the importance of having working smoke detectors, and how to make a safe escape if a fire occurs. We also practiced the important message of “Get Low and Get Out” and reminded everyone to get to a safe meeting place and STAY OUT!

We were also very fortunate to have DCR District 9 arrange a special visit from Smokey Bear! 🐻🔥 Needless to say, Smokey was a huge hit with the kids! After all, who doesn’t love Smokey Bear?

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this day such a success!

This morning the department was dispatched for a report of a gas leak in a home on Wi******er Road. Engine 2, X1 (Chief) and X2 (Deputy) responded to the scene. Upon arrival the home was metered and a leak was found and isolated in the home. Quick actions of the homeowner prevented a more serious issue from occurring. If you smell gas in your home don’t hesitate to call us immediately so we can come check it out and make sure you are safe.
