Crochet Club kids are doing great things! Look what was accomplished last night in class. These three 4-Hers finished and a couple others brought them home to continue to work on them over the next couple weeks. We can't wait to see the end results!

We're searching for an Ag Learning Lab Manager!

Do you love the energy of the County Fair? Are you great at leading teens and chatting with the public? We are hiring an Ag Learning Lab Manager for the 2026 season!

This unique position travels to four different fairs (Waseca, Rice, Freeborn, and Steele) to oversee our Ag Learning Lab, an interactive agriculture space. You’ll supervise teen leaders, help kids learn where their food comes from, and represent 4-H to the community.

Pay: $13/hr + $200 mileage stipend per county.
Perks: Admission passes, tshirts, parking, and 4-H Food Stand meal vouchers included!
Requirement: Must be a screened 4-H volunteer with a positive attitude.

The Centennial celebration is approaching fast, and we want every club in Waseca County represented in our historical showcase!

Does your club have a box of old polaroids? A scrapbook from the 80s? A grainy photo of a project that taught you a "durable skill" for life? We need them!

Introducing the "Future 4-Her" Project -
At the 2026 Waseca County fair, we are offering a new opportunity for youth that are interested in 4-H and excited to take a project to the fair but are too young to be a part of Cloverbuds!

This is targeted towards younger siblings of 4-Hers but is open to any youth in Waseca County.

Future 4-Her exhibits do not need to be entered online in FairEntry. Instead, youth will bring their project to General project Judging day (July 1st from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm) and will be able to talk to a judge about their project if they choose.

They will receive a cool "I'm a Future 4-Her" ribbon. A photo of the youth will be taken and put with the exhibit to be on display during the entire county fair!
