❄️Cold weather reminder:

✅Plug space heaters directly into the wall outlet and turn off when you leave or go to sleep.

❌Do NOT plug space heaters into power strips or extension cords. Using an extension cord with high wattage appliances can start a fire.

✋Keep anything that can burn at least 3ft from heating equip (furnace, fireplace, wood stove, portable heater).

Today the Washburn fire department did fire prevention day at the school for the kids. We would also like to thank the Pea Ridge Fire Department for allowing us to borrow the smoke trailer.

Just so everyone is aware Missouri is in a burn ban! We put out a fire yesterday that has rekindled 2 times. Please everyone no burning. It's too dry and too windy.
