The county jail is a crucial facility that serves all police agencies within Washington County; however, it is currently not operating at full capacity. This situation is primarily due to challenges related to staffing, necessary infrastructure repairs, and funding shortages. By fully funding the jail through this levy, we can ensure that staffing levels will keep pace with population growth, enabling us to maintain court-ordered custody for individuals charged with dangerous crimes.

👉 Vote yes on Measure 34-346 to adequately staff the jail to keep pace with growth.
