Happy Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day! 🩷 Today we remember the steadfast commitment to freedom that enslaved Black Americans have fought for throughout history and into the present. Juneteenth is a true example of how we are not free until we are all free. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼 We will continue to make meaningful changes to our local community in Washington County that supports BIPOC folks and can’t wait to see you join our effort!

Environmental Justice is the only way forward to create a cleaner and equitable future for all. We are proud to endorse KC LeDell for Washington Co. Circuit Court. We got a chance to speak with his during our interviews, and he spoke broadly about the needs for law and the Justice system to better serve marginalized communities, not further penalize and disenfranchise them. We represents are values well as a candidate and look forward to strengthening our partnership with him.

WashCo Ignite would like to bring attention towards the Washington County CPO program! It’s a great program where citizens can become involved in the decision making process with their local councilor. Elections of CPO leaders are held annually by each active CPO.
