✨🎬 EuroAsia Shorts Film Festival 2026 | 20th Anniversary ✨🎬
10 countries – Austria, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Oman, Pakistan, South Korea, Spain – came together to celebrate 20 years of EuroAsia Shorts (EAS). This year, six EAS screening events took place from June 5 to 12, 2026. The first five evenings were dedicated to Partner Nights blending short films from two countries designed as a conversation on this year's central theme, Past/Present/Future. They were followed by the traditional Closing Night on June 12, presenting shorts from all 10 partner countries. Thank you to all participating Embassies and Cultural Centers for sharing such moving, thought-provoking, and beautifully crafted films 🎥🌍
The Austrian Cultural Forum Washington was proud to host the Austrian-Indonesian Partner Film Night on June 8 and to present an Austrian short during the festival’s Closing Night. A special thank you to our colleagues at the Indonesian Embassy in Washington, D.C. - USA for a wonderful Partner Night and to the Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center for hosting an inspiring closing event ✨
🎬Austrian Short Films:
* Die gemeinen Kleinigkeiten (Nasty Little Things) by Florian Moses Bayer
* Lebenslang (Lifelong) by Krystian Kuzański
* Challenges of a Solitary Mind by Astrid Rothaug
We can’t wait for next year’s edition!
