MSHA was proud to establish a new alliance with the Metallurgical Coal Producers Association to protect coal miners. Together we'll advance training, data analysis, and best practices at mines, prep plants, and mills.

MSHA met with the Essential Minerals Association to renew our alliance to improve safety and health across the industrial minerals sector. We'll focus on training, data analysis, and reducing exposure to mine dusts.

MSHA was proud to establish a new alliance with the Women's Mining Coalition that will foster safer, healthier conditions for miners nationwide. Together we'll provide training, technical assistance, and outreach.

NIOSH's Mobile Occupational Safety and Health Unit is in Morgantown, West Virginia, to conduct Black Lung screenings.

The exam takes about 30 minutes and includes a health questionnaire, chest X-ray, blood pressure screening, work history, and spirometry test.
