Honored to join the Space Transportation Association in recognizing Congressman Steny Hoyer with the STA Leadership Award.

Throughout his career, Steny has been a steadfast advocate for NASA, space exploration, scientific research, and the missions that inspire the next generation of innovators. Maryland and our nation's space community are stronger because of his leadership.

Congratulations, Steny, on this well-deserved recognition.

This is a sad week for the Voting Rights Act.

The Supreme Court allowed a racially discriminatory congressional map in Alabama to stand, despite a lower court finding it intentionally diluted Black voting power. The decision threatens fair representation and puts Rep. Shomari Figures' district at risk after Black voters fought for decades to secure a seat that reflects their community.

The fight for voting rights doesn’t end in the courtroom. We have to keep organizing, keep showing up, and keep winning at the ballot box.

Come with me to Bowers Fabrication in Beltsville to talk with apprentices about their journeys, the opportunities that brought them to Maryland, and the importance of workforce training programs that create pathways to good-paying careers.

Five months later, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche is still refusing to share key evidence from the Minnesota ICE shootings with Attorney General Keith Ellison and local prosecutors.

Accountability starts with transparency, and the American people deserve answers. I urge my Senate colleagues to reject Todd Blanche's nomination to serve as Attorney General.

Great to be back at the U.S. Census Bureau in Suitland to see the completed renovations and meet with senior leadership at one of Maryland's most important federal institutions.

I had a productive discussion with Director George Cook and his team about ways to connect more local students and young professionals with opportunities at the Bureau, while helping raise awareness about its vital role in serving communities across the country.

The Census Bureau is an incredible resource in our district, and I look forward to continuing our partnership.

Joined AFGE employees outside the Agriculture Committee hearing to stand against the proposed closure of the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC).

BARC is a cornerstone of agricultural research, innovation, and good-paying jobs in Maryland. We will continue pushing back against this shortsighted proposal and stand with the workers, scientists, and staff who make BARC such a valuable resource.

The Constitution gives presidents the power to issue pardons. It does not give anyone the power to trade pardons for payments or political favors.

When serious questions are raised about corruption, the American people deserve answers. That's why an independent investigation is necessary to determine the facts and ensure accountability.

NO ONE is above the law.

Visited the Head Start Center in Camp Springs and saw firsthand the impact they’re making for children and families in our community.

As demand grows, additional funding would help expand capacity and allow more children, especially during the summer, to access these critical early learning opportunities.

Every child deserves a strong start, and I’ll keep fighting for the resources to make that happen.
