In reaction to the unprecedented attacks on Jews around the world and the appropriation of human rights to attack the one Jewish State, a new book was released titled “Human Rights: Written by Young Jews from 40 Countries” at a high-level ceremony in Portugal yesterday.
Last night, B’nai B’rith Connect was honored to host Nadeem Amar, a distinguished member of the Israeli Druze community. Learning about how dedicated the Druze’s are to Israel and their service in the IDF was quite impactful. We were fortunate to have in attendance our young professionals, relatives of Naama Levy, a hostage kidnapped by Hamas who is still
In Gaza, and other members of B’nai B’rith to hear Nadeem’s story.

We are so proud to have had a contingency from B’nai B’rith Connect at the Israel on Fifth parade.
Today was beautiful. Tens of thousands of people paraded through the streets of New York to show their support for Israel.
Thank you to everyone who showed up for Israel, for the Jewish people, and proved that even in the darkest of times, there is light.
Israel forever. 💙

Last Friday evening, B'nai B'rith Connect held a Diplomatic Encounter and Shabbat Dinner at their New York City offices to enhance leaders' understanding of B’nai B’rith International's worldwide efforts to support global Jewry and Israel.
As a continuation of B’nai B’rith Connect’s Diplomatic Encounter Series, our Connect Leaders were honored to attend an intimate discussion with
Romanian Deputy Chief of Mission to the UN, Cristian Gaginsky. It was very interesting to hear first-hand about Romania’s relationship with Israel, the U.S, and the Jewish Community. Romania has supported Israel continuously since the country was established in 1948.
B’nai B’rith Connect is pleased to announce our partnership with ESRA, English Speaking Residents Association in Israel and offer one of their programs called Chat Away: taking English out of the classroom to our Connect Leaders.

Last night in our New York City office, B'nai B'rith Connect had the privilege to host Eden Gafner, Survivor, Kibbutz Re'im attack, Israel on October 7. Eden shared her story of being in her family's mamad (safe room) for over 26 hours while terrorists were in her home, burning her neighbor's homes and murdering innocent people all around them. Her story shows bravery and resiliency. Eden and her family are now displaced living in a building in Tel Aviv while they wonder what will be next.
Coming up this coming Monday!
BEARING WITNESS: Join us in NYC on February 5, 2024 for an intimate conversation with a survivor of Kibbutz Re'im of the massacre that took place on 10/7 in Israel. RSVP - [email protected]
B’nai B’rith notes that in initial decisions announced today on “provisional” requests made by South Africa in a case accusing Israel of “genocide,” the International Court of Justice (ICJ) rightly did not demand that Israel stop vital defensive operations against Hamas in Gaza.
Nonetheless, B’nai B’rith is troubled that the ICJ asserted that the requirements to grant several South African requests for preliminary steps, including the need for Israel to report on its compliance with obligations, have been satisfied and that the case had a basis to proceed under the international Genocide Convention.

Today marks 100 days since Hamas’ barbaric Oct. 7 massacre against Israel, since hundreds of innocent people were murdered and kidnapped.
136 hostages are still not home.
We cannot rest until every single one is released.
