Our SHARE Food Network offers nutritious and affordable groceries every month to anyone in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
This August, we are offering a $30 grocery package that includes 5 pounds of chicken drumsticks, 1 pound of ground beef, 1 pound of ocean perch, 1 pound of bone-in chicken thighs, and 8 to 12 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables.

We are also offering various specialty boxes, including a Crab Boil box with blue soup crabs, easy peel shrimp, and smoked sausage for $38.

Orders are currently being accepted. Order distribution will be on August 21-22.

Many in our region count on our SHARE Food Network program each month for affordable, fresh, nutritious groceries sold through volunteer-run locations throughout the Washington metropolitan area. 🍎

We were so glad to see and welcome Bishop McNamara High School students who volunteered their time assembling and bagging food packages last week! 🤝

We are grateful for our partners at Catholic Charities as we continue serving our immigrant community together at our Langley Park Catholic Center. Today, we held our monthly diaper distribution, but our mission extends far beyond one day. Every day, we accompany immigrant families by offering practical assistance, compassionate support, and hope, especially to those facing the pain and fear of detention or deportation. The Church is here to walk with our brothers and sisters, to uphold their God-given dignity, and to remind them that they are not alone.

Estamos muy agradecidos por nuestros compañeros de Caridades Católicas, con quienes seguimos sirviendo juntos a nuestra comunidad inmigrante en el Centro Católico de Langley Park. Hoy llevamos a cabo nuestra distribución mensual de pañales, pero nuestra misión va mucho más allá de un solo día. Cada día acompañamos a las familias inmigrantes, brindándoles apoyo práctico, cercanía y esperanza, especialmente a quienes enfrentan el dolor y el temor de la detención o la deportación. La Iglesia está aquí para caminar junto a nuestros hermanos y hermanas, defender la dignidad que Dios les ha dado y recordarles que no están solos.

Our SHARE Food Network offers nutritious and affordable groceries every month to anyone in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

This July, we are offering a $30 grocery package that includes 5 pounds of chicken leg quarters, 1 pound of ground beef, 1 pound of beef portions, 1 pound of catfish, and 8 to 12 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables.

We are also offering various specialty boxes, including a Seafood Special box with bay scallops, ocean perch, tuna medallions, and shrimp for $32.

Orders will be received beginning Monday, July 20. Order distribution will be on July 24-25.

From July 1–7, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is joining Nourish the American Dream, a national movement with Albertsons Companies that brings nonprofits across the country together for a shared goal: to nourish every child’s potential.

Every dollar we raise supports our mission to help individuals and families struggling to put food on the table. Together with participating organizations, we’re working toward a collective goal of $5 million to help more children and families access the food they need to thrive.
