ICYMI: CTE Mission: CubeSat finalists were announced on December 2. The high school teams are using #CubeSat prototypes to study a range of topics, including the impact of population growth, heat differences in urban areas, and the performance of a new material used in magnetometers.

The national challenge is helping students build technical skills for careers in space and beyond through engaging CubeSat projects. From August to October, high schools across the country developed mission proposals. Meet the five finalists:
