A Special Visit to the Embassy of Greece!

We were delighted to welcome four outstanding Greek university students to the Embassy of Greece in Washington, D.C., as part of the Ambassador’s Fund for Summer Work and Travel (SWT) Scholarship Program, sponsored by the U.S. EMBASSY ATHENS and made possible by Greenheart Exchange.

While in Washington, D.C. to participate in the Greenheart Global Leaders Conference, the students visited the Embassy to share their experiences and aspirations, and to discuss the value of educational exchanges in strengthening the longstanding ties between Greece and the United States.

A heartfelt thank you to Evgenia, Kacey and Jessica for making this visit possible and for the excellent collaboration.

The Embassy of Greece in Washington, D.C. was delighted to welcome two groups of high school students from the program Future Global Leaders Academy – Ideagen Global for an interactive introduction to Greece's rich cultural heritage, global contributions, and enduring legacy- from its geography and language to the Olympic Games, shipping, tourism, innovation, and its lasting influence on architecture, film, and gastronomy. The students also engaged in discussions on the work of the Embassy and the strong and enduring ties between Greece and the United States.

We thank the Future Global Leaders Academy – Ideagen Global team for their visit and wish the students every success in their academic journey!
