FCC to Consider Text-to-988 to Expand Su***de Prevention Services

Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel today proposed an order that would expand access to the National Su***de Prevention Lifeline by establishing the ability to text 988 to directly reach the Lifeline to better support at-risk communities in crisis, including youth and individuals with disabilities. The Chairwoman emphasized the critical importance of this effort stating: “For so many of our nation’s young people and at-risk communities, including LGBTQ+ youth and people with disabilities, texting is their primary mode of communication. And as such, we should meet them where they are - so they can connect to mental health resources no matter how they communicate during a crisis.” During the transition to 988, Americans who need help should continue to contact the Lifeline by calling 1-800-273-8255 (1-800-273-TALK) and through online chats: www.su***depreventionlifeline.org/chat. Service Members, Veterans, and their families may reach the Veterans Crisis Line by calling 1-800-273-8255 and pressing 1, by texting 838255, or by chat through the Veterans Crisis Line’s website, www.veteranscrisisline.net. I been with out my phone for six days now,its my only way to call 911 and frontier will not fix it.can some one help me.
I live in Hanover VA 23069 and would like to know why we now have to dial an area code to call the house next door?? Is this a permanent problem and inconvenience?? We live in a rural area so not sure why this has affected us.
Where does the FCC enter into the regulation of Facebook?
Your website directs people to register their phone number with the Do Not Call Registry to block unwanted calls. That is misleading because with robocalls, they just generate another number, so blocking does not make any difference. Reporting the number only documents it, but does not block it. I have had numerous calls from the same numbers after reporting them to DNC. When is government going to step up to the plate and do something about blocking robocalls. Indians call me all day long, everyday from scam call centers. I am tired of not being able to live in my house in peace. Sitting Duck

During your next meeting, your agency needs to discuss the ongoing dispute between Dishnet, (And any other TV carriers) and the Company, "Tegna." It is a disgrace that this company can pretty much blackmail all the carriers, forcing them to pay as much in carrier fees as they want & demand, based on nothing but pure greed. You really really need to rein in Tegna and any greedy companies like them. Some areas TV customers have lost as many as up to 64 channels, and that is just not right. Dishnet should not be having to fight them on their own at the expense of their customers. The FCC needs to HELP!!!!

Spectrum is taking advantage of a disabled household .Caring for an elderly veteran. Please investigate
Spectrum shut off the TV after we paid them $400 dollars THIS month for one and half months service?
Is there a way to find out when my area might be getting fiber optics or faster internet? Are where lines are already laid?
Is it legal for a broadcast "channel" to take over the signal bandwidth of two existing channels in the same broadcast location? Specifically, I am talking about JEWELRY TELEVISION (JTV.COM) taking over TWO channels in the Central Pennsylvania area--21.2 (MyTv) and 21.3 (The CW). Both channels now broadcast the exact same programming which consists of nothing but a continuous jewelry sale of the exact same items. There was no public comment period on the takeover of two local channels. Who do I complain to about this problem?
