FCC Acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel said: “No matter who you are or where you live you need access to modern communications to have a fair shot at 21st century success. Where can a guy complain about his lack of internet service providers? I'm so sick of paying premium prices for sub par services.
The Facebook posts I share to my Page are not being posted. I reported the problem to Facebook and it is still happening and now the " Report Problem Button is not visible.
GM Happy Labor Day to all....Just like to say I do not appreciate being woke up on a Holiday and at 6:30am trying to get me to sign up for Medicare services...I am a Veteran and I have plenty of great coverage and do not like being called all the time by people who work for you....Phone callls need to stop and I see enough commercials on tv about Medicare and if I wanted any I would call them myself...I have also notified my Governor of Arizona and I expect you all to take care of this matter..Stop the PHONE Calls NOW
How does one go about requesting something like this be looked into further in order to get Mr. Stubblefield the recognition he deserves? If it would not fall under the purview of the FCC I would greatly appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thank you!
ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX . Bring back Locast Please. All deserve local news!
I heard the FM cb radio mode will be legal and others say it already is legal while others say it's still illegal so which is the truth?
With the Locast decision, it really brings to the forefront how local OTA channels no longer abide by the spirit of the law in making their channel available to everyone in their coverage area. Technology is changing and local channels are just waiting it out until they can charge everyone what they would normally get for free OTA. Streaming is the way of the future. OTA’s should be forced to make their signals available to everyone in their coverage area whether via broadcast signal OR via streaming.
The Federal Communications Commission should revisit the franchise agreements with Municipalities (Spectrum) The City of Kingston and Towns are collecting revenue from the cable franchise fees over 1/2 million dollars from the cable subscribers, and doesn't direct any funds to the public access station. #Cable #Franchisefee Kingston City School District #KingstonNY
Maybe your agency can look into the billing practices of VerizonConnect At the end of our contract period we canceled our Fleetmatics contract. We followed their instructions. We completed every step in the cancellation process. We continued to be billed. We went through the cancellation process three times… and we’re still getting bills. We’re getting automated calls that our account is past due. Each time we call them, explain the situation, and eventually we’re notified that the situation has been resolved….. and the next month it starts all over again. Are they hoping that most companies won’t catch it and continue to pay a bill for a service they no longer use?
When will the FCC stop allowing calls to us from advertisers and others only out to rip us off? I have received Numerous calls about a warranty for my car, others from various advertisers and a few minutes ago I had a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent that I simply could not understand. Several family members are recovering from Covid and they are in the midst of a hurricane and I am waiting to hear from them. Instead I get this irritating call. We are smart enough to find what we want without advertisers pestering us. I can't help wondering if the FCC isn't being paid to let it happen.
Has the FCC received an alert this week about widespread CenturyLink cable internet outages in Iowa? Our small business in Davenport, Iowa has been without internet since Saturday night, 8/21/2021. Our provider, Telplex Communications, Inc. tells us that it is a local third party problem, namely CenturyLink, although I cannot get answers from anyone about this supposed issue and my business is suffering without internet. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
