Some of 6-D vice from the early 90’s. Leon S. Cureton, Peter Newsham, George O’Bryant, and George Dixon
I’d like to share a heartwarming story about a great deed committed by our MPD Sixth District Officers. Today, while on patrol in PSA 603, Field Training Officer Buchanan, along with two officers in training, Officers Lin and Sexton, conducted a business check at the Safeway near Benning Road, NE, when they noticed a resident (and veteran of our armed services) attempting to make a purchase for his Thanksgiving family meal. There was some technical difficulty with the credit card our neighbor was using and the officers stepped in to pay for the groceries with their own money!! It is so important to recognize selfless acts from human being to human being! These officers were truly at the right place at the right time! Their generosity and kindness should serve as a testimony to all of us during this busy season! Thank you MPD 6D for having exceptional officers that care about the people and community they serve! 💙 💙
