Building Tomorrow's Leaders, Today.

Thank you to our LOFT 2026 sponsors and donors for your generous support.

Because of your generosity, 28 teens had the opportunity to strengthen their leadership and self-advocacy skills, build confidence, and form meaningful friendships with peers who share similar lived experiences.

For nearly 30 years, LOFT has fostered connection, community, and personal growth. Thanks to your partnership, high school students who are deaf and hard of hearing are empowered to become confident self-advocates, build meaningful connections, and grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

Thank you for making LOFT 2026 possible. We are deeply grateful for your partnership and commitment!

Finding a friend who understands can change everything. ๐Ÿ’™

Many teens who are deaf or hard of hearing and use Listening and Spoken Language donโ€™t know another peer who shares that same experience. Thatโ€™s exactly why LEAP was created. This free virtual program brings middle schoolers ages 11-14 together for an afternoon of games, skill-building, and peer connection.

Join us on Saturday, August 29 from 12:30-3:00 PM EST!

Building Tomorrow's Leaders Today.

Last week, we welcomed more than 25 high school teens from across the country to Washington, D.C. for LOFT 2026.

Since 1996, Leadership Opportunities For Teens (LOFT) has brought together teens who are deaf and hard of hearing to strengthen leadership skills, build self-confidence, and form meaningful connections with others who share similar experiences.

This year's group opened the program by hearing from internet pioneer Vint Cerf and the team at TD Bank on leadership and finding their voice.

Here's a look back at the first days of LOFT 2026.
