USAID’s Innovation, Technology, and Research (ITR) Hub leads USAID in experimentation and open inn The Innovation, Technology and Research Hub within the Bureau of Development, Democracy, and Innovation seeks to increase the application of science, technology, innovation, and partnerships to achieve, sustain and extend the Agency’s development impact to help hundreds of millions of people lift themselves out of extreme poverty.
Instead of selecting a proposed solution to problems in areas such as water, health, food security and nutrition, energy, education, and climate change, the Innovation, Technology and Research Hub brings the problem to the table with our partners and works together to catalyze great ideas and discover, test and scale them with the aim of helping more than 200 million people in the next five years.
