Our Turn Around Artist Elizabeth Banks visited Moten students today. They learned and gained so much! 5th Grade used visual thinking strategies, preK sang and received backpacks, and our French Immersion K class greeted her with a Bonjour! At the door. Great days at Moten Elementary!

April 15th there is no school for students due to Teacher Professional Development and April 16th there is no school for staff due to Emancipation Day. Happy Marvelous Monday Moten family!! Our school is collecting can goods for Food and Friends. Each grade level has been asked to donate 100 can goods. The first grade level that has 100 cans will win a dress down day and a school sponsored field trip. All items must be turned in by February 10, 2013. Thank you for your support.

Parents please complete, sign and return your child's Impact Aid Form to school. It was sent home on Monday.This form is important to school funding. A school wide contest is underway and a prize will be awarded to the first class with all forms completed.
