Today, SBLSC honors Juneteenth as more than a moment in history. It is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the enduring strength of the Black community. We remember the sacrifices of all those who came before us, recognize the progress that has been made, and reaffirm our commitment to equity, justice, and opportunity for generations to come.

Juneteenth calls us to reflect, to learn, to uplift one another, and to continue the work of building a future where freedom and dignity are truly shared by all.
