Today, on International Day for Biological Diversity, sturgeon juveniles were released into the wild in the Caspian Sea. Natig Bakhishov, USACC Executive Director attended the release ceremony in the Neftchala district, a region widely recognized for its rich fishery and aquaculture traditions.

Our team also visited Azerbaijan Fish Farm’s sturgeon facility. The company’s use of advanced technologies and sustainable farming protocols helps ensure the protection and growth of sturgeon populations in the Caspian basin.

The release ceremony, co-organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and private fish farms, stands as an excellent example of public-private partnership contributing to the preservation and restoration of Ponto-Caspian sturgeon species.

USACC is pleased to welcome the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) as a new Sustaining Member of the Chamber.

Established in 1997, the BSE is Azerbaijan’s primary securities marketplace, providing a regulated platform for trading equities, government and corporate bonds, and money-market instruments. The BSE plays a critical role in supporting capital formation, debt financing, and the broader development of Azerbaijan’s financial markets.

For U.S. and global investors, the exchange serves as an important gateway to Azerbaijan’s capital markets, offering exposure to sovereign and corporate debt in a resource-rich economy with a steadily expanding capital-market infrastructure.

As market depth and issuance continue to grow, BSE’s role in connecting issuers with long-term capital and strengthening financial market resilience becomes increasingly significant. USACC looks forward to working closely with the Baku Stock Exchange to advance bilateral financial cooperation and investment opportunities.

We welcome BSE to the USACC community and look forward to a productive partnership ahead.

Last week, the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) convened a high-level Ambassadorial Roundtable highlighting the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) as a cornerstone of the United States’ renewed Eurasian connectivity strategy.

Ambassadors from the South Caucasus and Central Asia, senior U.S. government officials, and leading American companies came together to examine how TRIPP can:
✔️Strengthen regional connectivity along the Middle Corridor
✔️Anchor long-term U.S. economic engagement
✔️Translate peace into sustainable, market-driven prosperity

The discussion underscored TRIPP’s unique public–private, business-led model, with active participation from U.S. institutions and companies exploring investment and infrastructure opportunities.

USACC remains committed to advancing dialogue between governments, U.S. agencies, and the private sector to ensure TRIPP delivers lasting economic impact across the Middle Corridor.
