Dr. Roger Marshall was elected to represent Kansas in the U.S. Senate. He is a former Congressman for Kansas' 1st District. Dr. Marshall trained a mobile hospital support unit as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves and retired after 7 years of service.

Nick Freitas is running for re-election to the VA House of Delegates. Freitas served in the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets) for 11 years and has been a state representative since 2015.
Congressman Chris Stewart was re-elected to represent Utah's 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Stewart served for 14 years as a pilot in the Air Force, flying rescue helicopters and the B-1B bomber.
Congressman Steven Palazzo was re-elected to represent Mississippi's 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He served in the Marine Corps Reserves for eight years and currently serves in the Mississippi Army National Guard.
In Royal Oaks, MI, veterans have been fighting for the city's War Memorial. In the past year, the city has been attempting to move the memorial against the wishes of veterans' organizations and a city-wide vote held in 2007. Quaye Quartey is running to represent California's 25th district in the U.S. House of Representatives. Quartey served in the U.S. Navy for twenty years and currently works as a small business owner.

University of San Francisco MAPL student and Craig Newmark Fellow Saif Khan has joined the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs leadership team as a political appointee to serve as Special Assistant (Attorney) at the Office of VA General Counsel. Khan is founder and former president of the Veteran-led-non-profit American Veterans Committee and also serves as vice president of the World Veterans Federation.

Peggy Hubbard is running in Illinois for the U.S. Senate. She served for several years in the U.S. Navy, and also worked for the IRS and as a police officer before her run for office.
Senator Tom Carper was re-elected to represent Delaware in the U.S. Senate. Carper served as a naval flight officer, served three tours of duty in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, and retired at the rank of captain after 23 years of service.
Congressman Troy Nehls was re-elected to Texas' 22nd Congressional District in the House of Representatives. Nehls served in the U.S. Army, deployed on combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, and retired at the rank of Major after 21 years of service. He is the recipient of two Bronze star medals.
Fred Robinson, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, has continued serving his country even after his military service. He volunteers for several veterans' organizations and organized the drive-thru Vietnam Veterans Day in his current home of Orange County, Florida.
