Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies (American University)
The Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies is part of the School of Public Affairs, at American University. Located in Washington D.C., CCPS has been a leader for decades in training students on how to pursue a successful political career.
Through research and workshops, the center brings together public policy practitioners and academics to share their research, knowledge, and experiences in a series of advanced institutes, conferences, and workshops on applied politics. The center is proud to have an impressive staff of distinguished professors, adjunct professors, fellows, and visiting scholars. These associates offer a wide range of experience and skills that greatly contribute to CCPS's success.
Operating as usual
We had an amazing time at the 2015 European Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute (EPAAI). We met with over 25 professionals in Brussels, including representatives from the European Parliament, European Commission, the U.S. Mission to the European Union, Transparency International, FedEx, and more!
Interested in the Campaign Management Institute (CMI) or Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute (PAAI)? Then apply for the CCPS Benefactors Award. AU Experts Analyze the 2014 Election!
Join the Center for Congressional Studies, the Women in Politics Institute, and the Kay Spiritual Life Center for an analysis of the 2014 Midterm election results on Thursday, November 6th.
