Looking back on 2022, we’ve accomplished so much! With the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, there is still so much progress that can be made. In 2023, we resolve to:

🚰Keep working towards more transparent and efficient processes for water infrastructure investments
🚰Continue to better identify and address barriers to reliable water and wastewater infrastructure in underserved communities
🚰Implement water infrastructure at the local level, providing technical assistance in more communities than ever before

Happy New Year to all!

Think one person can’t make an impact on the world? Meet this modest and unassuming West Bengal enginner living in America: He has saved 200,000 poor villagers from getting sick from arsenic-contaminated water in West Bengal, and he doesn’t just champion the right of impoverished girls to an education - but helps them get one. Oh, and he’s 84.

The American Federation of Government Employees chapter that represents the Environmental Protection Agency hosted a “no confidence” vote for Administrator Andrew Wheeler and other agency leadership for bringing employees back into offices too soon, which puts them at risk for contracting the coronavirus. Six hundred ninety-five of 750 members from various unions that represent EPA employees voted for no confidence (92.7%).
