Transitional Living Program and DC Basic Center Host Homes

We're currently seeking compassionate individuals interested in providing temporary care and a supportive environment for youth in need. The LAYC Transitional Living Program (TLP) and DC Host Homes (HH) support homeless or runaway youth, ages 12-21, who are transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. We provide safe housing and guidance to help these youth build a foundation for a healthy future.

Our programs offer residential services with the support of dedicated host families and community members. Host families receive financial assistance, training, and ongoing professional support from the LAYC TLP/HH team. Program Details:
- Transitional Living Program: Up to 18 months of housing and support
- Host Homes: 21 days of emergency housing with a certified host family
- Services provided to youth:
* Case Management
* Crisis Intervention
*Advocacy & Referrals
*Bilingual staff (English & Spanish)

We're currently seeking compassionate individuals interested in becoming a Host Family. As a Host Family, you'll provide temporary care and a safe, supportive environment for youth in need. By opening your home, you can help make a lasting impact on a young person's life, offering them stability and a path to a brighter future.
