Last week, a major lawsuit in New Mexico held Meta accountable for being a “public nuisance” and found that they were a significant contributor to the youth mental health crisis.

As a result, Meta must pay significant fines and implement platform changes for youth in New Mexico — and we have hope it will pave the way for stronger social media protections for youth in other states.
