John Chafee served Rhode Island and our nation for more than 30 years. He was a United States Senator representing Rhode Island from 1976 until 2000. In the words of one constituent during Senator Chafee's re-election campaign, "Chafee is a good man, and an honest man." Our nation needs more people in Congress like John Chafee. A clean government, a clean environment, and a business environment that working people, corporations, and small business entrepreneurs can all trust.
